Swimming camp Vila Real de Santo António

Hotel Apolo is located only 400m from the pools and other training facilities. The beach is just 2 km away. The hotel provides full comfort for swimmers and features an outdoor pool and a much-appreciated restaurant. The staff is well used to cater to high-level athletes.

Due to its central location in Vila Real de Santo António, one can easily move around by foot to find anything from shops, supermarkets to restaurants and bars. This small city is very charming and we encourage you to explore the area a bit further. The hotel can provide you with city bikes.

The rooms are modern, spacious and well-equipped. On-demand, fridges can be put in the rooms to allow athletes to store food, drinks and sports nutrition.

The swimming complex in Vila Real de Santo António consists of a 25m with 8 lanes and a separate 50m pool with 3 lanes. The 50m pool can be booked for team/club-only use and is therefore very suitable for focussed team training. At the facilities, you will also find a smaller pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and a large gym for land training.

Next to the pool, you will find the athletics stadium with its 400m track, indoor track, plyometrics and cross-fit area and a very complete Olympic gym.
